PS. From my early minor hockey days with the Pedersen Peewees right thru to the Rexwood Rebel juveniles; I only wanted my skates sharpened by your dad; he always made me feel welcome when I came to the counter and was willing to chat about the teams; he just seemed to know how to get my skates perfect, no one else could ever measure up; not sure I ever told him that...I wish I had.
Sending my condolences Gord was a great man it was nice to be able to hunt with him and get to know him and the many chats we've had thinking of all of you at this time. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Christo family, my sincerest condolences on the passing of Gord. As a young lad growing up in NL and playing hockey and ball, he was a regular at the rink and ballparks. Always enjoyed chatting with him as he was very wise in regards to life around sport. I hope the family finds strength in each other at this time and recognizes the respect that Gord had from me and others of my generation. RIP
